ALL ABOVE WITHIN THE DDPL LEAGUE
Pepsi Challenge Singles Winner 1998
Kirkcaldy League and Cup Winner (unsure of year, no trophies, just cash) 2000 Aprox
Represented Scotland “A” Team at Home Nations in Portrush 1998 – Record 6 wins from12 games
Fife 10 Man Team Winners 1989
Fife Doubles Runners Up 1995 with “Forlan”
Cottars Xmas Singles Tourney 1997
(Easy victory over “Forlan” who’s Runners Up trophy still remains in Cottars cabinet. hehe)

Plus Numerous Runners up Trophies (they out number winners trophies by miles, sadly)

My best solo performance was winning the Pepsi challenge event “98”; I won the tourney with victories over Mens World Champion (McInnis), Ladies European Champion (Top Form Michaela), Mens A team players (2 i think – Ian Gillis for sure) and various top class DDPL players, and oh, Daz lol, in a whitewashed final, 5-0 in under 30 mins, whisky tasted good though…all named where the champs at the time of beating them.

Also, when winning the summer singles, I lost 3 of my first six games, and as I was being told I would not qualify through league, I proceeded to win every frame thereafter, 28 in all (approx) including a whitewash over who? Of course, “Forlan” seems like my whipping boy, eh folks? lol.

And my first frame for Scotland was in my opinion my best ever finish, a dream like swerve shot to dish

I was the first of only two players to win both singles, and doubles within DDPL in the same year, Graham McCarroll won both two years later.
Recent News
Although I don’t play much pool, over the years I have held my own with all the top players within DDPL, But with all my “FREE” pool, lol, I might just go and practice, and enter some tourneys, who knows eh!!!!
